UP-AME Event
i just came home from the what i must say one of the best cosplay events that i have ever gone to. It was fantastic and believe me, the others might have the same opinion as i do. but because of an iced cold coffee, it made me feel dizzy and my hyper activeness was drained. Aww...
What's fun is that i am considered a VIP! which means special treatment. Haha. but i did not become a very demanding otaku for the personnel. But the staff of the event was very caring and polite during the event. It is a great thing that I came along with Bessi senpai and Kevin senpai. It would be very lonely walking there by yourself.
There are so many cosplayers and costrippers all wanting to portrait there favorite characters. For those people who doesn't know the meaning of these words, they are people who dresses up as an anime/manga/j-pop/japanese character they want and act that they were acting like them. Some of the costumes are the usual ones, and there are so many personas acting up as lolitas. But it served as an entertainment for the crowd because they have enjoyes capturing photos. Haha.
The shops were a little few for an anime convention, but i kinda get the idea that it was practical because of the little space of UP Bahay ng Alumni, not to mention the number of activities UP-AME has prepared for the visitors. too bad i didn't got any souvenir because i was busy gazing at the place. It is ireful for me that the shop i wanted didn't came to the place. So i haven't bought any cds full of manga scanlations. Sorry Glessie for that. I'll just return the payment on Monday.
Speaking of activities, UP-Ame has prepared so many. There was the speed dating booth, (which i have paid, but didn't attend), the darts booth (there were so many, trying it) , maze booth (i forgot what it was called), and many more. Ooh, i almost forgot, they also have this mini cafe in the second floor in which they are serving some yummy treats. But due to circumstances, i didn't have any. Aww...
So there you have it. That was UP-AME's cosplay event. Ta-ta.
